All projects undertaken by IPHRC researchers must be in cooperation with communities and should emphasize capacity building of Indigenous individuals, communities and institutions. We also require strict ethical provisions for projects derived in consultation with the communities. We strive to foster a research environment designed to increase Indigenous health research capacity and to expand Indigenous health research networks.
