Lacey Eninew.jpgLacey Eninew has recently been hired as Community Research Associate to work in the Senator Miles Venne School on the Lac La Ronge Indian reserve. Lacey is a member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and has spent the majority of her life living in the North. She was awarded her Education Degree in 2008 and since then has taught elementary, middle years, high school and physical education.

What is your role at IPHRC?

“I’m a research associate since August based out of La Ronge.”

What are you learning in your time with IPHRC?

“I’m learning how to facilitate arts programming. It’s allowing me to think long-term effects. I’ve learned about new forms of theatre and how to facilitate that.”

What are your career goals?

“My career goals are to combine education, the arts and culture. So whatever I’m doing I’ll combine the three of those in some way, shape or form.”
